Moto G5 To Have Smaller Display and New Camera Design

Motorola has bought affordable smartphones in the past. Moto G4 and G4 Plus have been a huge success with the customers. A great design and flagship features at an affordable price have been the USP of the brand. Redmi has been in competition with Moto for quite some time, both smartphones offer similar features at reasonable prices. Now with the launch of Redmi Note 4 with over the roof features at a price you won’t believe, Moto needs to up its game and it already has its latest smartphone in line. Motorola is about to launch its latest addition to the Moto G series, which is the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus. We bring out a concept design for the Moto G5 which is based on the rumours and leaks that surfaced on the internet recently.

Moto G5 Camera

Moto G5 will change the camera design of the Moto G4, going from the long camera design to a circular camera with Saturn ring design. The flash is right below the camera inside the ring and the Motorola logo right below the camera. The camera design is very similar to Yu Yuphoria’s camera design and has a bulge as the back panel is curved. The rear camera can be expected to be 12 megapixels.

Moto G5 Design

The screen size seems to be reduced to 5-inches for the G5 and 5.2-icnh display for Moto G5 Plus. Both smartphones will have full HD resolution. For the first time, there will be a Motorola logo on the top.

The fingerprint scanner is located on the bottom of the screen, just like Moto G4. The body of the phone has metal-finish and will take a different take than the Moto G4’s plastic design.

Storage

It will be available in a 32GB variant, according to a leak on OLX sale in Brazil. 64GB variant can also be expected.

Moto G5 Price

Moto G5 has been spotted on OLX and available for sale in Brazil for $385 USD for the 32GB version.

Apart from these specifications, the processor is clocked at 2GHz and a battery of 3000 mAh to power it up.The G5 is expected to be released at the MWC 2017 and should be available in a few months giving competition to the Redmi Note 4.
