Reliance Jio Call Duration May be Limited to 30 Minutes
Reliance Jio is offering free service to all the customers under its ‘Jio Welcome Offer’ for 3 months. Customers will get free unlimited voice calling and data service till 31st December 2016. However, there are rumors that Reliance Jio may extend its Welcome Offer until March 2017. The Problem of call drop in Reliance Jio has been improved but the operator may limit Jio call duration to 30 minutes per call for its users.
Reliance Jio Call Duration Limit
According to rumors, Reliance may limit Jio call duration to 30 minutes per call. This limit will be applicable to both outgoing and incoming calls, irrespective of the service provider you are calling.
Mukesh Ambani has stressed most about the unlimited free calls; therefore this duration limit on phone calls feels irrelevant.

Reliance Jio has always mentioned that voice calls will be free to every user for a lifetime. Reliance Jio is already facing call drop problem due to lack of polls and interconnecting points. Therefore, this call duration limit seems like Reliance Jio wants to lower the burden on its network by reducing the traffic.
This could be temporary measure by Reliance Jio as it says that their network is still in testing phase and is not completely tested. So, we have to see when this limit will start and whether it will end before 31st December 2016 or not. Reliance seems to be having an overwhelming response and having a little trouble facing the situation. This could increase soon as not everyone has VoLTE enabled smartphones in India.
