Xiaomi Redmi Pro with Deca-Core Processor to be launched on 27 July

The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has released a new trailer which reveals the launch of its flagship Redmi series. The latest flagship will be called Xiaomi Redmi Pro and will be launched on Wednesday, July 27. The highlight of the teaser is that Redmi Pro will be powered by Deca-Core Mediatek Helio X25 processor.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun posted the teaser on Chinese social networking site Weibo , which simply states that the latest Redmi smartphone will support deca-core Mediatek Helio X25 processor. He also revealed that the Xiaomi Redmi Pro will be flagship phone of the popular Redmi Series.

According to leaks, the flagship Xiaomi Redmi pro will be priced at CNY 1299 (roughly Rs. 13000) for the base variant. The high-end variant of the smartphone is also expected which would be priced at CNY 1399 (approx. Rs. 14000).

Earlier this month, Xiaomi had confirmed the launch of its next Redmi smartphone at an event in Beijing on 27th July. The Company also wants to highlight the presence of OLED display and deca-core processor on the flagship Redmi Pro.

Xiaomi Redmi Pro Specifications :

The rumoured Xiaomi Redmi Pro is said to support full metal body design. Volume rockers and home buttons are placed on the right side of the smartphone. The Xiaomi Redmi Pro is expected to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MiUI 7 over the top.

It will feature a 5.5 inch Full HD display. Xiaomi Redmi Pro will be powered by deca-core mediate Helio X25 processor along with a combination of 3GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. There could be other variant with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage but there is not much detail about that.

Based on earlier leaks Xiaomi is rumoured to introduce dual rear camera setup in its next Redmi smartphone.  There are no details about the presence of fingerprint sensor in the next Redmi smartphone.
