Ditto, not being a legendary Pokémon but having powers to transform or shapeshift into its opponent and learning their moves is also considered to be super rare in Pokémon Go.
Other than these, Dragonite can be considered a legendary Pokémon. However, it is not that difficult to get a Dragonite as Dratini is available if you look for it and Dragonite can be evolved from Dratini.
Fossil Pokémon like Omanyte, Omastar, Aerodactyl, Kabuto and Kabutops can be found at Night Time. People have already captured all of these. So, this leaves us with the Legendary Bird Trio, Mew, and Mewtwo.
Where are the Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Go ?
What we think is that these Pokémon may not be available in the game yet as nobody has come across to us on the Internet or in real who caught or even saw any of these.
But how can they not be in the game? Everyone saw Mewtwo in the Concept video of Pokémon and it has rank 150. The answer is in the concept video itself. When Mewtwo appears, everyone is running towards it together and there is a countdown which asks to defeat Mewtwo in the given time. Everyone starts attacking at Mewtwo and the video ends. This means that Mewtwo will be available in some special event in the game. Just like other android games like Subway Surfer, you have a limited time offer to get new characters and skins. There will be a special event in which you can fight for Mewtwo and somehow capture it.
Same kind of events can be expected for Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno.
When Will Pokémon Go Legendary Pokémon Events Happen?
Well, as we all know, the game is facing some server issues. Imagine when Niantic announces that they are letting the Legendaries out. The servers are going to be toast! So, until the game stabilizes and server issues are fixed, we’ll have to wait for the Legendaries. Till then, prepare for war as Mewtwo is not going to go down easy.
