Samsung Galaxy Note 6, also rumoured to Galaxy Note 7 is the next phablet by Samsung. The device has been in rumours for a while and a lot of renders have surfaced but no authentic image of the phablet has been revealed yet. The device is said to have a new security feature. It is rumoured to have an Iris Scanner.
Iris Scanner for Galaxy Note 6(Note 7)
An Iris Scanner is a biometric scanner which scans the Iris of the user. Much like the fingerprints, iris patterns are also a unique feature of every individual. Some of the Galaxy Note 6(Note 7) leaks have revealed that the device may come with 2 front cameras. One will take selfies and the other will be used for iris scanning.
However, Galaxy Note 6(Note 7) may not be the first smartphone to have an iris scanner. TCL’s Pride T500L also came with an iris scanner and it was available on Snapdeal for Indian users at Rs.10,499.

Galaxy Note 6 Release/Launch Date
It may be coming much before than you think. The rumours suggest it may come as soon as August 2.
Galaxy Note 6 or Galaxy Note 7?
Galaxy Note 6 seems to be the logical name since its predecessor was Galaxy Note 5. But it seems Samsung wants its phablet name to go in order with its flagship Galaxy S7. Although it hasn’t been confirmed yet but this rumour runs strong on the internet.
Galaxy Note 6 Model Number
There has been a page on Samsung’s Website which shows the model number to be SM-N930F. Samsung Galaxy Note 4’s model number was SM-N910 and Galaxy Note 5 was named SM-N920F, so Note 6’s model number seems legit. However, no other information has been revealed about the device on that page.
