How to Copy Unselectable Text on Android

There are many apps to download on Android device. We can now do most of the task on our android device instead of using computer every time. But there is still one thing about which we think that computer is good. That thing is when we cannot select text on some particular app. Although, we can long press to select the text but it does not work on all the apps. This thing can frustrate us sometime when we see some important thing and want to copy it but can’t select. How to Copy Unselectable Text on Android?

Step 1:

Download ‘Universal Copy’ app from Google PlayStore and open the app.

Step 2:

‘Toggle the button’ provided against the Universal copy app to enable the app.

After toggling the button you will be asked to allow accessibility to the app. Then tap on the ‘Open settings’ option.

Step 3:

After that you will be taken to the ’Accessibility’ settings. Tap on ‘Universal copy’ app and  toggle the button to turn on accessibility.



Confirm it by tapping on ‘OK’ to allow accessibility to the app.

Step 4:

Now open the app from which you want to select the text. We are doing this by selecting text on twitter app. After opening the desired app, drop down the notification bar and tap on the sticky notification of ‘Universal App’ to activate copy mode.

Step 5:

Now tap on the text you want to select and tap on the ‘copy icon’ at the corner. The slected text will be copied.


You can also edit the selected text by tapping on the ‘pencil icon’ located on the left of copy icon.
