In China, OnePlus is taking orders in advance for 1,000 units week before the actual launch event in a flash sale. But the phone will start shipping after the event. OnePlus is ready to stock up on no less than a million units till the launch event on June 15.

No Invite System this time!

OnePlus has been known for its exclusive invite system, but the last time it didn’t actually work for their OnePlus X. Seems like they have moved over the idea and dropped the invite system. With No Invite Sytem comes more responsibility and now they need to make more and more stock in time for the people. However, OnePlus is already stocked up on a million units already.

In India, the phone will be available exclusively on Amazon and there will be No Invite System this time. Will there be a different system this time? We can’t confirm that yet but chances are that there will be registrations for a flash sale.

The price revealed by China is RMB 2,999 which is around $455 (Rs.30,639) making it more expensive than any other previous models. But with the new features it will offer, it seems to be a reasonable price. OnePlus 3 will come in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants. Both of these variants will have 32GB and 64GB variants. So in total, there will be 4 variants.
