Motorola Moto G 4th Gen aka Moto G4
Motorola is set to launch its new phone Moto G4 on Tuesday, 17th May. Motorola on its twitter handle revealed that its new phone will be available exclusively on Amazon India from May 17.
Motorola is sending press invite for its launch event which is scheduled for 17th May. However, there are no details about the smartphone being launched in the press invite. We are expecting the announcement of Motorola’s 4th generation of Moto G smartphone at the event. There is rumour about the launch of the Motorola Moto G4 Plus which may also include fingerprint sensor in addition.

The company has revealed several teasers for its upcoming Moto G4 contradicting it with the other phones which hang while playing games, blur images due to slow camera autofocus and switch off unexpectedly due to low battery.

Amit Boni, Country Head, Motorola Mobility India confirmed the next Motorola smartphone’s availability via Amazon India, “We have witnessed tremendous growth in the e-commerce market and it will continue to be the dominating channel for us as we bring new products to the India market. Amazon.in is the one of the best online marketplaces in India and we are glad to announce that we have exclusively partnered with Amazon India for our next Motorola smartphone.”
The smartphone has been is leaks several times. According to the latest rumours, Moto G4 is expected to feature 5.5 inch Full-HD display running latest android 6.01 Marshmallow, powered by octa-core processor (Snapdragon 615 or Snapdragon 617) coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage. In the camera department it is expected to have a 13 mega-pixel rear camera.

The Moto G4 plus is expected to run on same Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, powered by octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage. It could have a 16 mega-pixel rear instead of 13 mega-pixel on the G4. The Moto G4 is also rumoured to have fingerprint sensor in addition to Moto G4. Both the smartphones are said to have NFC connectivity.
