Intex Aqua Joy is the latest addition to the Intex Aqua smartphones which is priced at Rs.2,799. At an affordable price, it provides many features like a 1.2 Quad-core ARM v7 Cortex processor, Spreadtrum chipset, 512MB DDR2 RAM, ARM Mali400 MP2 GPU processor and a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 480x800pixels with 16.7 millions colors.
Most of us nowadays keep a side-kick phone with us sometimes after buying a huge phone like Samsung Galaxy S7 or iPhone 6S. As you know iPhone doesn’t support Dual-SIMs, you need to keep a sidekick smartphone. Intex Aqua Joy could be that phone or if you are looking to buy a phone for your kids, it is a fine choice.

It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop which makes it compatible with all the common apps which you may need on a day-to-day basis.The camera isn’t much really, it has a 0.3-megapixel camera on the front and the back. The front camera can take photos with 640x480p resolution and the back camera can shoot with 800x480p resolutions. Videos can be recorded at 25 fps and the back camera also has a dual-tone flash.
It has a battery of 1450mAh which gives a talk time of 4 to 5 hours and standby time between 140 to 160 hours.
This phone does have some limits, like it only supports single finger touch and doesn’t support multi-touch gestures. The internal memory is only 4GB which may limit your apps. It has a g-sensor and a conventional GPS to track locations.
Intex Aqua Joy is available in Black and White. The Li-ion battery is removable. For connectivity it has Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, 3.5mm earphone jack, FM Radio, Dual SIMs, 3G. However, it does not support 4G LTE networks. The sensors include proximity, acceleometer and gyroscope sensors and lacks a magnetometer, barometer, ambient light sensor etc. It weighs 110g and measures 125.00×63.90×10.10mm.
