Android N Developer Preview has been out for a while for Nexus Devices and it will take a while till your device receives Android N update, or maybe it will not. Android N brings some cool new features and many overall improvements over the Android Marshmallow. Some of the new features of Android N are Multi-window, double tab on recent to switch apps, Settings dashboard subtitles, improved Doze and many other tweaks here and there. You can get Android N features on your Android device only if it is running Android Lollipop v5.0 onwards or Android Marshmallow v6.0 onwards. So, make sure you have these versions of Android before proceeding.
To get Android N features, you need to download Xposed Framework and one Xposed module developed by MrWasdennoch. The Xposed Module is called Android N-ify and using this you can get the features of Android N. However, it does not have all the Android N features, but it offers the Double-tap recent to switch last used app and Settings Dashboard Subtitles. How To Get Android N Features on Your Android Device
- First, you need to have Xposed Framework on your device. Download both files (Xposed Installer and Xposed Framework) and install them on your device.
- Download and install Android N-ify on your device.
- Activate the module and reboot your phone.
That’s it! Android N-ify app is now available in your app drawer. Be patient till the new updates for this app arrive as it is still in development phase.
