YU Yureka Note Launched at Rs.14,999.Available at Offline Retailers

After the launch of YU Yutopia, flagship smartphone of YU Televentures which is a subsidy brand of Micromax comes the latest addition to their smartphone lineup. The new smartphone is not distinctively a new device but rather extends the YU Yureka series of smartphones. The new YU Yureka Note device is a Note version of the first YU device, Yureka and is available to some offline retailers instead of directly selling from e-commerce websites. YU devices have always been able to turn heads when it comes to giving high-end features at relatively low prices and a reasonable quality as well. However, the silent treatment for this device is a little unusual in the case of YU which has been good in creating hype for their devices before launch.

YU Yureka Note, model name YU 6000 sports a 6-inch full HD IPS Display with Gorilla Glass 3 Protection. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core 1.5GHz processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It comes with a 16GB of  internal memory which can be expanded via micro SD card. The good thing about YU devices is that you can be assured of some of the basic features like memory expansion as every YU device comes with memory expansion facility. Now the battery offers a capacity of huge 4,000mAh with QuickCharge support which is the highest battery capacity in all of YU’s previous smartphones.

The camera on the rear is of 13-megapixels with flash and the front is of 8-megapixels front shooter. It will be running Android Lolipop 5.1 out of the box and may be updated to a more recent Android version. Fingerprint scanner is also available, the location of the scanner is unclear, possible on te back like the YU Yutopia. In terms of connecitivity, it offers 4G connecitivity, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and also supports dual-SIM functionality.
