LG Introduced New X-series Smartphones
LG released its latest X series of smartphones on Monday,15 February. These smartphones will be unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona. The two smartphones of the X series will be launched with LG G5 at the event on February 22. These two smartphones are named as LG X Cam and X Screen.
LG stressed on the fact that the X-series of smartphones are made for the customers who do not desire for high end premium features but want great camera optics and good screen. Both the smartphones of X-series will be launched next month in Asia, Europe and Latin America.
LG X Cam
The LG X Cam measures 147.5×73.6×6.9mm and weighs 118 grams. It comes with latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow Operating System and features a 5.2 inch Full-HD Display offering 564 ppi and comes with Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by 1.14GHz Octa-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. It has 16 GB of internal memory and can be expanded using microSD card.
In camera department it features dual rear camera setup with 13MP and 5MP camera sensors with autofocus and LED flash module. It also has an 8 mega-pixel front facing camera. It includes a 2520mAh removable battery. It supports 4G LTE services and comes in Titan Silver, White, Gold, and Pink Gold colours.
LG X Screen
The LG X Screen measures 142.6×71.8×7.1mm and weighs 118 grams. It comes with “Always On” second screen which has been seen on LG V10. LG X screen features 4.9 inch HD (720x1280p) screen. The second screen is placed above the main screen and measures 1.76 inch. The second screen is used to show App notifications, incoming calls or current playing music status. The ‘Always On’ screen will also show clock, battery status without turning on the primary display.
It comes with latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow Operating System. It is powered by 1.2GHz Quad-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. It has 16 GB of internal memory and can be expanded using microSD card. It comes with 13 mega-pixel primary camera and an 8 mega-pixel front camera. It includes a 2300mAh battery. It supports 4G LTE services and comes in Titan Silver, White and Pink Gold colours.
