Samsung Galaxy A9
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A9 was certified at TENNA in China few days ago. Samsung has now officially revealed the smartphone in China. It is flagship of the Samsung’s popular ‘A’ series smartphone and successor to the Galaxy A8 launched this year. However, the pricing and availability details are yet not revealed.
The Galaxy A series by the Samsung is known for the premium looking smartphones featuring metal and glass body design. Samsung has recently launched the updated version of the last year smartphones Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016), Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016).
The Samsung Galaxy A9 is made of metal frame and Glass back and comes with Android v5.1.1 Lollipop. It features a 6-inch Full-HD Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass offering 367ppi and it has minimal bezel of 2.4mm. It is powered by 1.8 GHz 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor along with 3GB of RAM. It has 32 GB of internal memory and can be expanded upto 128 GB using microSD card.
It comes with 13 mega-pixel camera with f/1.9 aperture, autofocus, LED flash and OIS (optical image stabilisation).it also has an 8 mega-pixel front facing camera and comes with different modes such as wide selfie mode, self-portrait mode, palm selfie mode. The camera app on the smartphone can be launched by double pressing the home button.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 includes a massive 4000mAh battery which can last very long and it also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 which can charge the phone very quickly. It also has Dual-SIM slot and a separate slot for the microSD, not a hybrid Dual-SIM slot where u can insert either 2 SIM or 1 SIM with microSD card.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 also features a Finger Print sensor at the home button which can be used for security perpose and Samsung Pay support. Other connectivity options for the smartphone include 3G, 4G, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GPS, Beidou and USB 2.0.
