Galaxy S7 Renders
Last week, we saw a lot of leaks about the Galaxy S7 designs which looked like Galaxy S6. The leaks said that Samsung may not change the design and materials for the new flagship phone Galaxy S7.
Here are some new images revealed by GSMarena showing renders for a massive Galaxy S7 or a Galaxy S7+ which were provided by Samsung to phone case makers like ITSKINS. These images reveal there is not one but two models for the S7. These models will be bigger than previous flagship models.
Galaxy S7 measures to be 143.37 x 70.8 x 6.94mm which show minor changes in dimensions from Galaxy S6’s 143.4 x 70.5 x 6.8mm. The screen size could be 5.1 inch for these dimensions which would be same as Galaxy S6 but whats bigger is the new battery. As users complaint for S6’s unfulfiling battery capacity.
Now for the other news about the Galaxy S7+,it will measure 163.32 x 82.01 x 7.82 mm which is in comparison to the Galaxy S6 Edge+measuring 154.4 x 75.8 x 6.9 mm. With these measurements,Samsung could fit in a 5.7 inch screen.
As the images show,the home buttons has sharp edges.The sim-card slot can be seen moved to the side of the screen which might possibly be a second microSD-card slot as well.
The Nexus 5X and 6P, they have adopted the new USB Type-C connector and it is expected that it will soon be adopted by new upcoming smartphones. Galaxy S7 and S7+ may adopt the new technology as well.
Galaxy S7 will go by the model number “SM-G930” and S7+ will go by “SM-G935” respectively.There will be two distinct groups of these smartphones with Qualcomm Snapdragon and Samsung Xynos chipsets.
There is a rumour that Samsung Galaxy S7 will feature a Snapdragon 820 variant and as well as an Exynos 8890 which has been the norm of Samsung Flagship phones.
