Microsoft Lumia Flagship Devices with Windows 10 Operating System
Microsoft has launched its latest flagships smartphone, the Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. Both the smartphones are first to be launched with Windows 10 Operating System. They will be available from 11 December in India with price of Rs.43,699 and 46,399 respectively. The smartphones will be available both online and offline retailers and pre-booking will start from Monday.
Microsoft has also launched the most anticipated gadget, the Microsoft Display Dock. It is priced at Rs.5,999 and will be bundled free with both the smartphones, initially for the limited period. Both the smartphones can be turned into full desktop PC using the Microsoft Display Dock, along with keyboard and mouse. After connecting the smartphone using Display Dock, the phone’s interface changes to desktop interface of the Windows 10 with Start Button.
Microsoft Lumia 950
The Lumia 950 measures 145×73.2×8.2mm and weighs 150 grams. It comes with latest Windows 10 operating System and features a 5.2 inch QHD ClearBlack Amoled Display offering 564 ppi and comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by 1.8 GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor along with 3GB of RAM. It has 32 GB of internal memory and can be expanded upto 200 GB using microSD card.
It comes with 20 mega-pixel PureView camera with f/1.9 aperture, autofocus, a triple LED flash module and OIS (optical image stabilisation).it also has a 5 mega-pixel front facing camera. It includes a 2840mAh removable battery.
Microsoft Lumia 950 XL
The Lumia 950 XL measures 151.9×78.4×8.1mm and weighs 165 grams. It comes with latest Windows 10 operating System and features a 5.7 inch QHD ClearBlack Amoled Display offering 518 ppi and comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by 2 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor along with 3GB of RAM. It has 32 GB of internal memory and can be expanded upto 200 GB using microSD card.
In the camera department Lumia 950 XL features the same camera and flash module as that of the Lumia 950. It includes a 3340mAh removable battery. It also comes with liquid cooling.
Both the smartphone support Dual-SIM dual standby Nano-SIM card with 4G-enabled. They come with USB Type-C ports and supports fast charging which can charge 50% of battery in 30 minutes
