YU Yuphoria’s Successor Revealed

YU Televenture is recently promoting its upcoming high-end smartphone by posting the teasers on social media. However, in between this a new leaked benchmark test result revealed that company is making another handset named Yuphoria with model number Yu6000. This can be said as the successor of the current YU Yuphoria and it could be named as YU Yuphoria Plus as the successor of Yureka was named as Yureka Plus.

The details of the Yuphora’s successor were revealed in GFXBench Listing. The successor will have upgraded features as compared to that of current model.

The successor is said to have Android 5.1 Lollipop and will features a 4.6 inch Full HD IPS display with touch screen with at least 5 finger gesture support. It will have 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processer, GPU ARM Mali-T720 and 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory. In camera department in could feature a  12-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, face detection, HDR, LED Flash and a 7 mega-pixel front facing camera.

Connectivity options will include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS. It will have the various sensors including accelerometer, barometer, gyroscopic, proximity and light sensor.

Current Yu Yuphoria model was launched in May at price of Rs. 6999, it received a price cut of Rs. 500 in October and is now available at Rs. 6499. It comes in two models, one running on android 5.0 Lollipop and other running on Cyanogen OS 12.0 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. Cyanogen OS 12.1 update for Yuphoria is in Beta Testing and will be rolled out soon.

So far, company has not informed any plan to launch the successor of the Yuphoria and is only concentrating on its upcoming high-end smartphone Yutopia. However there no information about the launch date of the Yutopia but company is taking pre orders and you can register yourself for the pre order.

YU Televenture has revealed various features of the Yutopia through series of teaser. It will include 32 GB of internal storage instead of 16 GB. It will also have Quad-HD displayed as confirmed by the company. Company also teased that it will be company’s first Full Metal body smartphone.
