OnePay Mobile Recharge App To Disconitue Services
OnePay which is a mobile recharge service app has started to inform its customers via mail that they are going to discontinue their services and wants them to withdraw or use their OnePay money by 23rd November.OnePay was rated 3.9 on the Google PlayStore and it was developed by 10C India Internet Pvt Ltd. It had 3,538 downloads in India which may give a good reason for its failure.
OnePay provides Fast & convenient Mobile recharge, DTH recharge, Datacard Recharge, postpaid mobile payment, landline & broadband bill payments. It serves with telecom companies like Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, Reliance, Aircel, BSNL, Tata Docomo, MTS, Uninor, Videocon & MTNL.
It offered features like saving cards for faster recharge,shake to recharge,support all major banks like ICICI, HDFC, SBI, Axis bank etc via debit and credit cards.It had grown over the year and supported various comapanies to make transcations with.But in the mail received by customers today from OnePay declares that OnePay is going to discontinue services from 24th of November. Here is a screenshot for the mail received by one of the customers stating the details for refunds and usage of OnePay Money.
OnePay was in competition with other companies like Paytm,Freecharge,Citrus etc. The reason for the discontinuation is not revealed mail,it is only mentioned that the company is shutdown due to reasons beyond their control.It may be that the company was incurring losses due to the tough competition with other established brands.But nothing is conclusive as per now.
Users are requested to clear out all the vouchers which are still below the expiry date or OnePlus Money which you have in your account before 24th of November,if you are unable to do so,they will refund it to your bank as soon as possible.If you have not yet received this mail and you are a user of OnePay,you should use your OnePay money before 23rd of November.
