Both the phones are from the same manufacture and fall under the same category. Moto G Turbo edition is successor of the Moto G 3rd generation with little improvements. Moto G 3rd Gen is priced at Rs.12,999 for the 16GB model whereas Moto G Turbo Edition iss priced little higher at $283 (roughly Rs. 18,600).
Processor and Memory
Moto G 3rd Gen comes with quad-core snapdragon 410 processor, whereas Turbo Edition comes with 64-bit octa-core snapdragon 615 processor. Both of them have 2GB of RAM. Based on the processor and combination of RAM the Turbo Edition gives better performance because of extra cores and new processor.
Both smartphones features a 5 inch screen but Moto G 3rd Gen has an HD display whereas Turbo edition comes with Full HD display. So, Moto G Turbo edition has a crispier display than the 3rd Gen Moto G.
Except some additional features in Turbo edition, both phones have same camera optics. So there is not much of a difference in camera .
Both the phone comes with a 2470 mAh non removable battery but Moto G Turbo edition supports Motorola Turbo Power quick charging.
The Turbo Edition has more features as compared to Moto G 3rd Generation with better processor and display. So if you are looking for more features and ready to spend some extra bucks then you should go for the Turbo Edition. But if you want descent performance and want to save some bucks than you can go for Moto G 3rd Gen.
Moreover, if you already own Moto G 3rd Gen then you should not upgrade to Turbo edition as there is no significant difference.
