InFocus Launched World’s Smallest Portable Windows 10 PC

InFocus has launched its portable Windows 10 PC Kangaroo on July 29,2015 in USA. In recent days, we have seen  that computers are getting smaller and smaller in size. There are many mini portable computers available in market today, and now there is a new one in the game. Lets see what it offers:-

It’s dimensions are 124mm, 80.5mm and 12.9mm and the company claims that Kangaroo is world’s smallest portable computer, and it is approximately as the size of a smartphone. Its base unit can be removed and beneath it are the two USB ports, one USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0. It also has a HDMI port, and a DC Power port under the base unit along with the USB ports. It also features a Windows Hello fingerprint sensor. And this mini Computer weighs just 200g (excluding power adapter and cords).

Kangaroo is powered by quad-core Intel ‘Cherrytrail’ Atom x5-Z8500 processor clocked at 1.4GHz along with Burst frequency of 2.24GHz. It has 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and 32GB of storage memory, which can be expanded upto 128GB via microSDXC card for more storage.

For connectivity options, the InFocus kangaroo features Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0 as wireless connectivity.

The InFocus Kangaroo runs on the latest Windows 10 Operating System. It also has an inbuilt battery, which can last upto 4 hours under “casual use”, as claimed by the company. It also has a micro-USB port for charging the device.

InFocus Kangaroo Price and Availability

This portable mini Computer from InFocus is priced at $99(approximately Rs.6,500) and is available in United States through online retailer Newegg.com. From mid-November it will also be available at Microsoft Store, as told by Infocus.

Verdict

As it is a portable mini device, don’t expect it to handle something high-end such as high-graphic games. However it can play normal games, Web Browsing, and can also play Full-HD video without any lag.
